Peptiboost® Calm is a first-aid skincare ingredient designed to restore skin balance and prevent neurogenic inflammation. It targets both subjective symptoms (like heat, tingling, and tightness) and visible signs (such as redness and scaling) associated with sensitive skin. The formula is powered by Poria Cocos Sclerotium extract and anti-inflammatory peptides. Poria cocos, a staple in traditional Chinese medicine, contains polysaccharides and lanostane triterpenoids known for their anti-inflammatory and immune-modulating properties. These compounds inhibit key inflammatory pathways and cytokines, helping to reduce swelling and irritation.
Peptiboost® Calm is ideal for treating acute and chronic inflammatory skin conditions, reducing puffiness and redness, and preventing premature aging through elastase inhibition. It is especially suitable for sensitive, atopic, and post-sun skin care products.
