Glucosylrutin

Glucosylrutin (AGR) is a water-soluble flavonoid derivative obtained by enzymatic glycosylation of rutin. It has strong antioxidant properties and improves stability and bioavailability in cosmetic formulations.

AGR is particularly effective against singlet oxygen, a radical generated by UV radiation that contributes to skin aging and cell damage. AGR protects against UV-induced damage such as lipid peroxidation and DNA changes and can significantly reduce symptoms of sun allergies such as PLE. This makes glucosylrutin ideal for sunscreen, after-sun, anti-aging, and skincare products for sensitive skin.
