T-EGF (Trans-Epidermal Growth Factor) is a biotechnologically optimized Epidermal Growth Factor (sh-EGF) which, thanks to fusion with a carrier peptide (TD-1), offers about 10 times better skin penetration than conventional EGFT-EGF promotes the regeneration of dermal fibroblasts - the cells responsible for collagen and elastin production. By increasing the production of collagen and elastic fibers, T-EGF improves skin texture, elasticity and firmness. Studies show that T-EGF not only reduces wrinkles but also reduces redness after irritation (such as from UV or treatments) and strengthens the barrier function. Especially during the nightly regeneration of the skin, T-EGF supports cell repair and strengthening skin structure. T-EGF impresses with its high biological activity of over 1,000,000 IU/mg and a structure that is similar to natural human EGF. It stimulates fibroblast formation, promotes microcirculation and visibly reduces scars, for example after acne or sunburn. COSMOS-approved, vegan and water-soluble (2-8 ppm), T-EGF is ideal for anti-ageing serums and night care products.
