Recelline® is a new multifunctional oligopeptide specifically designed to activate proteasomes in skin cells. Proteins that are primarily damaged by UV radiation and reactive oxygen species (ROS) are then effectively broken down, preventing them from causing further skin damage. Furthermore, the breakdown products are then reused for the synthesis of new, functional proteins involved, for example, in the formation of the extracellular matrix or DNA repair.

Recelline® protects cells from environmental stress (chemical oxidants or UV radiation), recycles damaged/oxidized proteins, aids in DNA repair, supports collagen production, delays stress-induced senescence, has a skin-soothing effect, promotes elasticity, and is effective against wrinkles.
